Twig first attended Faith Bible Camp as a seven year old while his parents were on furlough from their missionary work in Jos, Nigeria. After graduating from Western Illinois University with a degree in camping and a heart for helping others, Twig worked in camping ministries at some prominent camps around the country, but when an opening presented itself for a director at Faith Bible Camp, Twig felt the Lord calling him to return to Faith Bible Camp and has been ministering to local youth, families, staff, churches, etc. ever since.

Travis & Abby Penick

Ministry Staff

Travis and Abby Penick met at a Christian camp in Decatur, IL through Campus Crusade. They were married in 2020 and moved out to Faith Bible Camp shortly after that to become part-time ministry staff. Travis is a diesel mechanic and Abby is a nurse. They use their practical gifts to serve God. You might find them doing anything from maintaining the camp lawns to fixing tractors, repainting buildings, or being the camp nurse.
