Obstacle Course

Picture
The obstacle course provides several challenging activities that build teamwork and trust between campers. Located in the woods of the camp, the obstacle course gives campers the opportunity to take on fun tasks in an exciting environment.

Activities

Tire Swings

The tire swings are perhaps one of the most challenging activities in the obstacle course. The goal of this activity is to cross to the other end without touching the ground. While it is challenging, conquering the tire swings
is certainly a fun part of the course.

The wall

The wall is an activity that takes courage and builds trust. The goal of this activity is for a group to work together to get everyone to the top platform of the wall, one at a time. Campers can pull from the top of the wall and carefully push from the bottom of the wall in order to boost their friends up and over. While the height may be intimidating, working together to conquer the wall is a great team-building activity.

The Platform

The platform is the obstacle course activity that relies the most on teamwork. The goal of the activity is to get every member of the team onto the platform without anyone touching the ground for 10 seconds. Overcoming this challenge takes strong teamwork, but provides a fun experience as well.

Giant's Thumb

The giant's thumb is a challenging activity that requires teamwork and strategy. The goal of the activity is to remove a tire from a tall pole without the tire or any person touching the pole. This challenge gets campers working together and thinking creatively in order to successfully achieve a solution.
